Overview: 

EduThink programs support the development of Global Competencies by challenging students to think critically about real-world issues and examine them from multiple perspectives.

 

Our experiential learning workshops explore how our thoughts, beliefs and actions can be influenced and reinforced by the media, our experiences and our relationships.

Outcomes:

EduThink programs offer students opportunities to critically investigate their own real-world questions. The EduThink framework provides students with a platform to: 

  • articulate their thoughts and ideas without being "wrong"

  • become self-aware and self-directed learners (metacognition and growth mindset)

  • acquire, process, and interpret information to make informed decisions

  • discuss and analyze problems that impact their everyday lives

  • develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • consider context and incorporate different perspectives to evaluate their thoughts or actions

  • practice respectfully disagreeing, compromising or negotiating in the spirit of cooperation.
